Terms of Service

These terms govern use of ZOVRO, a marketplace that connects customers with independent local service providers.

Marketplace role

ZOVRO helps users discover, contact and coordinate with service providers. Unless explicitly stated for a specific service, providers are independent users and are responsible for the services they offer.

Accounts

Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials and use the platform lawfully. Provider licensing or verification labels apply only when ZOVRO has completed the corresponding verification process.

Lawful use and individual responsibility

Customers and providers may use ZOVRO only for lawful purposes. Each user is responsible for their own conduct, statements, requests, services, transactions, qualifications, licenses, permits and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Users may not use ZOVRO to request, offer, arrange or perform illegal activity.

Service providers are independent users, not employees or agents of ZOVRO unless expressly stated otherwise. Providers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any license, permit, registration or insurance required by applicable federal, state or local law for the services they offer. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, each user is responsible for harm, loss, penalties or claims arising from that user's own unlawful conduct, misrepresentation, failure to hold a required license, permit or insurance, or failure to comply with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility, duty, warranty or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Service requests

Customers are responsible for describing the requested work accurately. Providers are responsible for evaluating whether they are qualified and legally permitted to perform the work.

Safety

ZOVRO's SOS and roadside features are not a replacement for 911 or emergency medical, police or fire services. In an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Payments and pricing

The public web beta may limit or disable in-app payment features while release verification is completed. If ZOVRO offers an in-app paid transaction, the applicable amount and available terms will be shown before the user authorizes payment.

Prohibited conduct

Users may not misuse accounts, impersonate others, submit fraudulent requests, harass other users, interfere with the service, evade licensing or legal requirements, or use ZOVRO to request, offer, facilitate or perform illegal activity.

Enforcement and lawful requests

ZOVRO may suspend, restrict or permanently remove accounts involved in illegal, fraudulent, unsafe, abusive or prohibited activity, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or legal compliance. ZOVRO may preserve or disclose information and cooperate with lawful requests from courts, law enforcement or other competent authorities when required or permitted by applicable law.

Changes and termination

ZOVRO may update features and these terms as the service develops. Users may stop using ZOVRO and may delete their account from the app.

Beta notice

ZOVRO may operate some features as a public beta while store, messaging, notification, or payment integrations complete their release verification. Features may change during this period.
